Schiller's turn of life
"Schiller's Turn of Life" shows the manifold influence that the close friendship with the Körner family had during the Dresden period and beyond. The guided tour conveys the significance of those two years in which the poet, in addition to completing "Don Carlos", began to devote himself intensively to history, philosophy and the publication of a literary journal. Reference is also made to works of a humorous nature that were only created in Dresden, such as a comic strip and a satirical poem. The role of his friend and patron Christian Gottfried Körner is made clear, as is his role in Dresden's salon culture, as an author of aesthetic writings and as a literary critic of his time.

Discover small museums with Friedrich (Schiller)
The family rally invites children of primary school age and their families on a discovery tour through five small museums with Friedrich (Schiller).
Exciting tasks await in each of the museums: Listen to the story of a fountain and two men in the Schillerhäuschen, go in search of famous people in pictures in the Kügelgenhaus, get to know a man called Kraszewski who was more than just a writer, and view your birthday constellation in the Palitzsch Museum. You will also learn interesting facts about the famous composer Carl Maria von Weber and his favourite pet - even though the museum is currently being renovated.
You will receive a stamp with Friedrich in each museum - and whoever collects all the stamps will receive a prize!
The leaflet for the family rally is available free of charge at the ticket offices.
